Lunch & Learn Series

Coming Friday, October 28!

If you could save a life, wouldn't you?

Almost 100,000 Americans are waiting for an organ transplant. Your decision to donate your organs can save the lives of up to eight people, and directly improve the lives of up to 50 people through tissue donation.

Pam Mayberry from Midwest Transplant Network and Kris Keller from Heartland Lions Eye Bank will present the next event in Coffey Health System’s Lunch & Learn series. The public is invited to attend the Lunch & Learn on Friday, October 28, from noon to 1 p.m. in Coffey County Hospital’s Allen Woods 2 Conference Room.

Mayberry and Keller will discuss the need for organ, cornea, and tissue donation; authorization procedures; and myths and truths about donation. They will also welcome questions.

Bring your questions.  Learn the facts about donation.  Make the right decision for you.
