Lunch & Learn Series

Coming Thursday, April 24!

Lunch & Learn:  Acute, Common, and Chronic Pain

Millions suffer from acute or chronic pain and its life-altering effects every year. In fact, pain affects more Americans than diabetes, heart disease, and cancer combined. The next presentation in the Coffey Health System Lunch & Learn series will address acute, chronic, and common pain syndromes.

Dr. Mark A. Greenfield, CHS Specialty Clinic physician and founder of the Kansas Center for Pain Relief, will discuss the services provided at his weekly CHS pain clinic. He will also share information about common pain syndromes and the differences between chronic and acute pain.

The public is invited to attend the Lunch & Learn on Thursday, April 24, from noon to 1 p.m. in Coffey County Hospital's Allen Woods 2 Conference Room. Please note that this event is on a Thursday, unlike most Lunch and Learns that are held on Fridays.

Attendance and lunch are free.  Seating is limited, so register today by contacting Lacey Ballard at (620) 364-2121 Ext. 4174 or lballard@coffeyhealth.org.  Information and online registration is also available at www.coffeyhealth.org.
