Elder Care Panel Discussion
Friday, January 20, 2017
Coffey County Hospital Allen Woods II Conference Room
The January 20 installment of our popular Lunch & Learn series features a panel discussion of elder care services.
“One of the toughest decisions in life is what to do when you or a loved one should no longer live at home,” said Director of Marketing Tracy Campbell. “We’re bringing together key experts from our staff to address questions, debunk myths, and help people get a good vision of how to transition that difficult stage of life.”
Discussion will touch on long-term care, assisted living, home health services, emotional preparedness, and navigating paperwork and assistance programs. Panelists include Sunset Manor Director of Nursing Krista Cubit and Social Service Designee Vicki Seems, The Meadows Operator Lana Bahr, CHS Social Work/Case Manager Angie Morrison, and others. Vice President for Ancillary Services James Higgins will moderate the discussion.
The public is invited to attend the presentation on Friday, January 20, from noon to 1 p.m. in Coffey County Hospital’s Allen Woods 2 Conference Room. Attendance and lunch are free; however, seating is limited. To register, call (620) 364-2121 Ext. 4174. Online registration is available at www.coffeyhealth.org.
“Whether it is for your own future or that of a loved one, this panel discussion will help you get a good perspective of elder care options,” Campbell said.
