Coffey County Hospital in Burlington was recently named one of the nation’s top 20 critical access hospitals (CAHs) for best quality practices.Coffey County Hospital scored among the top CAHs as determined by the Chartis Center for Rural Health for quality index—a rating based on the percentile rank across rural-relevant process of care measures. “Coffey Health System and Coffey County Hospital are proud of the efforts of our physicians and staff who have contributed to achieving this designation,” says Chief Executive Officer Joben Rieth. “To have achieved this ranking during the pandemic speaks volumes about our emphasis on quality initiatives.
