No out-of-pocket expense for the vaccine: The COVID vaccine carries an administration fee that is paid by insurance. Patients who are
uninsured--or on the off-chance that an individual's insurance does not cover the fee--the cost
is absorbed by CHS and covered by a grant. No one should or will be
charged an out of pocket cost for a COVID vaccine at CCMC.
We have safety measures throughout Coffey Health System to protect against COVID-19 infection. Please note that these precautions are subject to change.
Important information for uninsured patients: On March, 22,2022 at 11:59 p.m. ET, the Health Resources & Services Administration's Uninsured Program stopped accepting claims for COVID-19 testing and treatment due to lack of sufficient funds. On April 5, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. ET, the Uninsured Program will also stop accepting vaccination claims due to a lack of sufficient funds. And, finally, a very special video to (and from) our community. We can't begin to count the many acts of kindness shown to our CHS family, but every gesture touched our hearts. May 7, 2020
