EFFECTIVE October 25, 2021 - Sunset Manor is pleased to announce we are reopening visitation with our elders. All visits will take place in the “Chapel” or outside. We are hopeful to move to in-room visits again soon, we also have our Visit Time online option. Please remember: 4 people for outdoor visits and 2 people for indoor visits. All visitors must be screened by facility staff prior to visits, perform hand hygiene, and wear a mask. We encourage vaccinations and social distancing. No age limits, but all other requirements must be followed during visit. Feel free to contact Sunset Manor with any questions. We know you are eager to see your loved one.
EFFECTIVE August 24, 2021- Due to an increase in positive COVID-19 cases in our community, there will be no in-room visits. All visits are to be scheduled by phone in advance. We will use the "Plexiglass room" as a visitation room. All visitors are asked to come to the back door to be screened prior to visits. Outdoor visits may continue at this time. Please make sure to screen properly, perform hand hygiene, and wear your mask at all times during the visit (regardless of vaccination status and type of visit).
EFFECTIVE March 15, 2021 - The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid released new guidance for resident visits. Sunset Manor has long awaited this guidance so we can resume personal visits with our loved ones. We know our residents, along with their families and friends have had a long and difficult year trying to stay healthy and minimize exposure. We at Sunset Manor, ask family and friends to be patient as we begin easing into the new guidelines starting March 15, 2021.
ALL visits must be scheduled through the facility. We are still offering VisitTime and Plexiglass visits in addition to indoor/outdoor visits.
